1,111 pixel critters
on Base.
Two ears, a head split down the middle into two colours, and eyes that are never the same size. A handful break every one of those rules, and those are the ones worth having.

Three rules, never broken
Except when they are. Those are the rare ones.
Ears
Two tabs on the top edge. They are the reason a Critter reads as something alive rather than a coloured shape. Four have none.
Split head
Two colours divided down the middle, each ear taking its own side. Colour is the signature, not an ornament.
Odd eyes
The two eyes are never the same size, so no Critter is balanced. Forty break this rule and stare straight back.
Rarity you can see
Most collections hide rarity in the metadata. Here the collection has three visible rules, so the rarest Critters are the ones that break them, and you can spot one from a thumbnail.

Deterministic
Every Critter comes from sha256(seed : token : stream).
The same config always produces the same collection, on any machine,
in any year.
All unique
1,111 of 1,111 have a distinct trait set. No duplicates, no near-misses.
Nothing hidden
Tier counts are sliced to exact numbers, and every trait figure here is the realised count from the build that shipped, not a target the weights were aiming at.
You own your Critter
Plain English, no lawyer required. This is the whole licence.
What you get
If you hold Base Critter #412, you can use that Critter's artwork however you like, including commercially. Print it on shirts, make stickers, use it as a logo, sell what you make and keep the money. The right moves with the token when you sell it. The holder kit gives you a 4000px print file so it comes out sharp.
What stays ours
The name Base Critters, the collection as a whole, and the brand artwork. You can't use those to launch a competing collection or a shop that looks official.
If you don't hold one
Share the images, post them, meme them. All fine. Selling products with them is not.
Holder kit
Your Critter as a profile picture, and a header to match. Enter your token number. Everything is made in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
Connect a wallet to verify you own the Critter.
Not a holder yet?
Take one anyway. This Base Critter is free for anyone to use as a profile picture, header and for print. No wallet, no purchase, no reveal to wait for. It is not one of the 1,111, so nobody owns it and nobody is diluted by you wearing it. If you decide you want one that is actually yours, there are 1,111.
Profile picture
Circular, ready for X, Discord, Farcaster or anywhere else. The print files are 4000px at 300 DPI, sharp on a shirt or a poster. Pixel art has no detail to lose when it is scaled up. Take the transparent one if you are printing onto a colour, so your Critter sits on the garment rather than on a square of its own.
